On April 20th, 2016, Brooklyn turned 11 months old! We can't believe there is only 1 more month before she's a full-fledged 1-year-old! Brooklyn is pretty much walking everywhere now inside and uses walking as her main mode of transportation. She can get to a standing position without pulling herself up and also does some impressive squatting to play. She is OBSESSED with Kedzie-dog and we have to constantly make sure she isn't harassing her, Brooklyn pretty much just wants to be where ever Kedzie is and doing whatever Kedzie does. She finds Kedzie's water bowl to be a pretty terrific water toy. Brooklyn started cutting some molars and has 12 teeth already! She's also pointing a lot and waving "bye-bye" periodically. She's great at finding Mom's nose :) She's babbling a lot more and Mom and Grammy swear she looked right at Jamie the other day and said, "Dada," but she hasn't reproduced that since. She's eating more solid food and has figured out how to drink from Mom and Dad's camelbak water bottles which is another one of her favorite things. So far she is unsure of the out of doors. We are working on this :)
Brooklyn's 11th Month photo shoot is pretty much all outtakes, Mom
decided to for-go the traditional chair pics because it was so beautiful
outside...turns out Brooklyn does not like to be on the grass after
falling and rolling down a slight incline in the yard the first time she
stood on grass. We sort of got too busy to re-do the shoot indoors,
but we still think she's pretty much the cutest :)
Brooklyn is also obsessed with bananas...as is Kedzie, it's pretty hilarious to watch them follow whoever grabs a banana around the house
