Aunt Emily and Uncle Billy have been amazing since Brooklyn was born. They come over at least once a week and either make dinner or bring lunch and have even mowed the lawn on occasion. Mom and Dad thought it was finally time to take a car ride out to see them for a change. We even made it into an overnight stay! (ps Aunt Emily slept over the night before to help us get packed up and on the road the next day)
As soon as we arrived in New Balitmore, Brooklyn decided she was very hungry, the eating was hard work so she immediately took a nap after
After Brooklyn's nap Aunt Emily took us on a walk to see Lake St. Clair and to meet Uncle Billy's parents
Brooklyn enjoyed posing at Uncle Billy and Aunt Emily's "first look" spot. She was very interested in all the stories we were telling her about their wedding day about a year ago
That evening we all met Dad after work at Atwater in the Park in Grosse Pointe. Aunt Emily, Uncle Billy, Mom, and Dad all enjoyed some adult beverages while Brooklyn slept.
Brooklyn always enjoys playing with Uncle Billy but especially loved doing it at Uncle Billy's house!
Kedzie had fun too and was very tired but sad to leave the next day and head back to the west side.
Brooklyn had a great time!
